Bulk Tainer Transport was established in 2018 in response to the fluctuation of quality and quantity of 3rd party trucking supply available.
Bulk Tainer’s goal and vision to be the best isotank operator means that we must be able to provide our customers with the best service and make ‘going the extra mile’ our standard.
Developing our own in-house trucking provision has given us the ability to drive our standards throughout our supply chain. BTT has grown to offer services throughout the UK and in Europe, and although the business has grown and diversified, our focus on service has remained the same.
Equipment
We operate a fleet of state-of-the-art trucks and chassis’ and have recently invested in trucks with ‘Next Generation’ engines that offer significant reductions in fuel consumption, helping us move towards our sustainability goals.
We are also actively studying the viability of clean fuel trucks in several our operations and hope to introduce an electric or hydrogen fuel cell section to our fleet soon.
System
We are developing our own truck planning system with full connectivity to our trucks’ existing GPS systems, which will allow full automation of a number of functions and ensure accurate and timely communication of:
- Location data
- Real time ETA and advance delay warnings
- Demurrage notifications
- Job confirmations with POD/POL
- Damage reporting / interchanges
- Continuous Improvement
Locations
UK
We currently operate from main hubs in Goole and Huddersfield, with vehicles based in the key strategic areas of Hull & Immingham, Teesside, Liverpool, and Birmingham, allowing us to service the whole of the UK. We also operate a fleet of road tankers for the domestic market.
Spain
Bulk Tainer Transport SL is based in Quart de Poblet and Barcelona. From these locations we can easily access the respective ports and rail terminals to service business throughout Spain and internationally across Europe.
Bulk Tainer Transport SL is long established in the region and highly experienced in both Iso-tank and domestic transport in Spain.
Netherlands
Bulk Tainer Transport BV operates from South Rotterdam and is managed locally by our JV partner, Gebroeders Geelhoed B.V. They bring their local expertise and knowledge to our operation in Holland.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability, we are working towards ISO 9001:2015 and SQAS accreditation.
